14 year old girl admitted to the Emergency departement after she got stamped by a horse into her stomach. Following CT-scan of the abdomen assessed minimal fluid and free air in the right anterior pararenal space. A discontinuity of the duodenal wall was demonstrated in the D2/D3 segment, confirming the diagnosis of a rare solitary duodenal laceration. Accoring to the AAST duodenal injury scal this laceration was graded a grade II injury ( disruption of <50% of the circumference ).
