May be difficult to assess completely with US, further imaging with MR or surgical evaluation should be considered

Clinically inconsequential

Cyst size > 1 and ≤ 7 cm

Yearly US follow-up, at least initially

Continue follow-up annually; decrease frequency of follow-up once stability or decrease in size has been confirmed
- Cysts in larger end of this range should be followed on regular basis
